Surviving on Pasta ... Part 1

By 13:10

This is going to be a series of Pasta recipes some fairly easy and some slightly more complicated but still cheap and healthy for students. I thought let's start with the simplistic recipes and work our way up to the most complicated.

Ingredients:
As much dry pasta and you feel necessary
1 Tin of plum tomatoes
1 small tin of tuna
1 Red Onion
Handful of sweet corn
1 Red Pepper
1/2 a Chilli ( optional )
Sprinkle of oregano ( optional )
Baby Leaf Salad to serve

This is a super simple pasta recipe, brilliant for a quick dinner or lunch epically for people who are at university.

Method:
Firstly boil all the pasta in a pan for around 15 minutes , or until the pasta is done to your taste. Whilst the pasta is boiling start chopping up all the veg onion, pepper and chilli. Once the pasta is done I strained it and chucked all the veg and seasoning including sweet corn, salt, pepper and oregano in the empty pasta pot. Fry away in the same pot as the pasta cooked in ( saves the washing up especially handy for uni students!! ) fry for around 5 minutes then add the tuna and a tin of tomatoes and continue to cook for a further 8 minutes. Add the cooked pasta and that is it !!I added a handful of salad to this to make the meal more filling and to add some green to the plate!

I proceeded to watching Vampire Diaries and wished I was sitting see this view instead of the English rain.
